Just a quick update on the action over the last few weeks since the website has been down, we have had Chasers taking part in the Berwick leg of the XC with some great results also the following week was our very own XC at Chirnside not so many running at this one as we needed marshalls but the juniors and seniors who did run gave some excellent performances.  We have also had our Presentation nights for both the Seniors and the Juniors this is reported on separate a log on the website but many congratulations to all the trophy winners.  Must say well done to Tilly Fuller who has been collecting a medal a month for the whole of 2016 and she finally managed that when she took on the challenge of 100 miles a month.  The final race in December was down at West Barns a run along the beach which she did along with Tracey McCann and Wanda Field the ladies finished the race which in turn finished the 100 mile challenge and received a well deserved medal taking Tilly’s toll to 12 this is very impressive well done.

Our young Sprinter Kyle Taylor has also been competing up at the Emirates in Glasgow on Tuesday 27th December he took part in the U12’s Competition competing in the 60m, Hurdles, 200m, long Jump and Shot Put his results are as follows:   He was 1st in his race in the 60m in a time of 9.4,  he was 1st in his Hurdles in a time of 11.5, he was 2nd in his 200m race in a time of 32.3.  The long jump  gained his a 6th place overall with a jump of 3.6 and then the shot put he was 17th with a throw of 6.73.  He gained PB in 4 out of 5 events which is a great achievement well done Kyle.
