On a beautiful sunny Sunday 5 Chirnside Chasers made their way up to Dunfermiline first up in the morning was Josh Abbott in the Under 15 800m however due to running the previous day and not fully fit from injury Josh didn’t run his usual form he was 3rd in his heat and he did scrape through to the final as the fastest loser where he had to wait a few hours and then ran pretty well to come 6th in the final.   Next up was Erin Moran in the Under 13 long jump she jumped a great  3.75m then came straight off and ran her 100m heat where she was 2nd just being pipped on the line, her time was 15.32 and she lost out on the final by 200th of a second.  Next up was Kyle Taylor also in the Under 11 100m his time was 16.55 he ran a very determined race as usual and just missed out on the final by 200th of a second.  Kyle also ran in the Under 11 800m race and again ran a very determined race and claimed a fantastic 4th place.  Up next was Isla Taylor in the Under 13 800m she came 8th in her heat and ran really well  picking a few girls on her way round.  Last to go was our only trophy winner of the day Keira Waddell in the Under 13 Javelin she threw a fantastic PB of 32.73 which claimed her the gold medal. Well done everyone putting the Chasers on the map again. Apologies for photos I forgot my camera so had to use my ipad.
