Four Chasers went over to Meadowmill today to catch a time or a new PB, Kyle Taylor did exceptionally well he won his 150m heat in a time of 23.13 which was actually the fastest time overall on the day and a new PB and also running into a very strong headwind he also ran in the 1000m and got a time of 3.35.99 and was 3rd overall and then went on to jump in the Long jump and came 2nd with a jump of 3.47m. Hannah Hamilton-Meikle ran in the hurdles today and came 5th in her heat with a time of 12.77 just outside her PB by 100th of a second and then ran in the 800m and claimed a time of 2.37.18 and came 7th in her heat. Isla Taylor throwing the the shot Put today threw 5.80m just shy of her PB and then jumped 3.34m in the long jump still recovering from her toe injury and the really stong wind not a bad result for her. Josh Abbott ran really well into a very strong headwind in the 400m he smashed his PB and won his heat in a time of 57.03 it was 57 dead on the clock but must have been rounded up still a fantastic time in the strong wind. Meanwhile over in Livingston it was the last of the Throws GP and Archie and Harry Fuller and Keira Waddell appeared to contest the medals. Harry Fuller gained a PB in the U15 with a throw of 19.61. 36.99 Keira Waddell threw 36.99 to claim 1st and the overall winner. Archie Fuller threw a new PB of 24.10 and then went on to throwanother PB in the shot putt of 8.34. So overall a very successful thow meeting for these three young chasers.
