Lauder XC┬áChirnside Chasers would like to thank Lauderdale Limpers and all at Borders XC for all their hard work in hosting a superb starting event for the Borders Cross Country Series, a fantastic day was had by all 20 kids and 11 adults that came out on the day to represent the ‘Chasers. The times for the juniors were as follows: Declan White 13.11, Jamie Kinghorn 13.40, Harry Fuller 13.44, Ben Reynolds 13.52, Oliver Stewart 14.45, Charlie Stewart 15.59, Daniel Ross 15.25, Archie Fuller 15.32, Isla Taylor 16.03, Zico Field 16.26, Jade Longstaff 17.03, Emily Martin 17.46, Rachel Hudson 17.59, Harris Ross 18.12, Luke Simpson 19.07, Keira McGregor 19.11, Laura Fuller 20.23, Erin McInnes 22.53, Morgan Burns 22.56 Heather Kinghorn 25.28. And in the Senior event Iain Williams was the first ‘Chaser home in 30.00 mins flat, closely followed by George Dod McMullan in 31.03, then Stevie Simpson in 35.26 and Stephen Ross in 35.52 then Euan McGregor in 37.13, Zoe McInnes in 43.43 and Leeanne Ross in 45.26. Nadine Moore sprinted to the line in 49.04 just beating Cathy Holms who finished in 49.08 and Amanda Turner in 49.22 and Susie Arnott was next home finishing her first XC in 56.36. All thouroughly enjoyed the hilly and fairly challenging 4.2 mmile course and are already setting their sights on the next round at Galasheils in two weeks time.
